How Friends of Undugu Family of Hope was born

Friends of Undugu Family of Hope was born during the pandemic when Edwin reached out to Tamara (Tami) on FB messenger and described the conditions in Kibera during the lockdown.

The original goal, to find enough friends to donate small amounts of money each month to pay for their food bill, soon grew into other areas: supporting education, creating a baking school, addressing emergencies when possible, and looking forward to larger sustainable options.

Every small donation makes a HUGE difference for these children. $25 can buy a round trip bus ticket for a student to get back and forther to school, $50 amonth can pay for a secondary education, a donation of any amount is welcome and makes a difference.
